Welcome to the Rainbow C.D.C. Family, a program funded by the LAUP!

We are delighted you have chosen Rainbow C.D.C. for the early education and care of your child.  We know that you, as parents, want the best care and education for your child.  We are committed to bring the highest quality early childhood care and education program to all children 3-4 in Korea Town.

Recently, Rainbow C.D.C. partnered with the Los Angeles Universal Preschool Program (LAUP) to create a wonderful preschool program for all preschool age children in the Los Angeles County.  Los Angeles Universal Preschool Program is a dynamic new public benefit corporation created in 2004 and founded by First 5 LA, the commission established by proposition 10.   LAUP’s goal is to make voluntary, high-quality preschool available to every four-year old child in Los Angeles County, regardless of his/her family’s income, by 2014.  LAUP is guided by a 10-year Master Plan developed by hundreds of educators, parents, government officials, and business and community leaders.  Building on this plan, LAUP is bringing resources together from across the country in support of early childhood education. 

Research shows that children who attend quality preschool programs are more likely to succeed, in school and beyond, than those who do not.  Currently in Los Angeles County, only half of our four-year olds have access to any preschool at all.  LAUP is funding the creation of new-quality programs in areas that need them most and providing new resources to existing programs to help improve quality.  LAUP is proud to be working in partnership with government and the private sector to address community needs. 

Parents of children in LAUP classrooms can feel confident that their four-year olds are in preschool programs that have been evaluated for quality.  LAUP carefully reviews teacher qualifications, class sizes and adult/child ratios, and the environment in which our children explore and learn.  All LAUP programs welcome parents into the classroom as active and engaged partners in their child’s preschool experience. 

Created by the people of the Los Angeles County, LAUP is working with and for the communities it serves.  Studies show that the entire community benefits by investing in our children’s early years.  For every dollar we invest in quality preschool, the public saves more than double that in reduced special education, crime prevention, and other costs.

저희는 여러분께서  아동들의  조기 교육을 위해 Rainbow C.D.C.를 선택해 주신것을 기쁘게 생각하며  한인타운에 거주하는 세살에서 네살사이의 모든  아이들에게 최고의   교육 프로그램을 제공하기 위하여 전념하고 있습니다.

Rainbow C.D.C.는 최근 로스 앤젤레스 카운티안에 거주하는 유치원 나이의  어린이들을 위한 훌륭한 유치원 프로그램을 만들기 위해 Los Angeles Universal Preschool Program (LAUP)과 파트너가 되었습니다.

Los Angeles Universal Preschool    건의안 10 에  의해  세워진   First 5 LA 위원회가  2004년에 설립한 활동적인   새로운   공익 기업 입니다.

LAUP의 목표는  2016년까지, 가족 소득에 관계 없이, 로스 앤젤레스 카운티안에 거주하는   모든  네살 아이에게   최고 수준의  유치원을 이용 가능하게 하는 것입니다.

LAUP은 수백명의 교육자,  부모,  정부 관리 및  사업과  지역 사회  지도자들이 개발한 10년 종합 계획에 의해 관리되고 있습니다. 이 계획에 기초하여, LAUP은 조기 아동 교육의 지원을 위해 미 전국 각지에서 자원을 모으고 있습니다.

수준급의 유치원을  다닌  어린이들은   다니지않은  어린이들보다  학교와  그이후 생활에서 성공할 가능이 더 많다는 것을 연구서가 보여줍니다.

현재 로스 앤젤레스 카운티안에는    네살 어린이들의  겨우 절반 정도만이 유치원 교육을 받고 있습니다.

LAUP은  그들을 가장 필요로 하는 지역안에 수준 높은   새   교육 프로그램의 창조에 투자하고 있으며, 기존의 프로그램에게는 수준을 향상시키기 위해 새로운 자원을 제공하고 있습니다. LAUP은   지역 사회가    요구하는   것을 해결하기 위하여 정부와   민간 부문과   동반자 정신으로 함께 일하게 된것을 자랑스럽게  생각합니다.

LAUP학교에  자녀를 보내신   부모님께서는 당신의 네살된 자녀가 그 수준을 계속  평가받는  훌륭한  유치원  프로그램에 다니고  있다는 것에  신뢰감을 느끼실 수 있을 것입니다. 

LAUP은 교사 자격,    교실 크기 및   교사 와  학생비율과   우리 아이들이 뛰어놀고   배우는 환경을  검토합니다.   그리고  모든  LAUP  프로그램은 부모님께서   우리 아이들의  유치원 경험에  적극적이고  직접적인 동반자로 참여하시는 것을   환영합니다. 

로스 앤젤레스 주민에     만들어진 LAUP은  지역 사회와  함께  지역 사회를 위해 일하고 있습니다. 연구조사에 따르면, 우리의 아이들의 조기 교육에 투자하는 것이 전체 지역 사회에 득이 된다고 합니다.  우리가  수준높은 유치원에 투자하는 1 달러 마다, 우리 사회는 특수 교육 감소,  범죄 예방과  다른 비용등을 통해  두 배 이상의 돈을절약 할 수 있다는  연구결과입니다.
